Job Description
The position is responsible for providing execution and process ownership for the Western US territory, executing KFC?s Franchise and Business Development strategies.
:
Act as single point of contact for franchise development related activity for territory covered (West), while delivering effective and streamlined communication to franchise system on development pipeline.
:
Manage / facilitate all phases of franchise development process and support for territory covered (West): market planning, site selection and approval, real estate contracts, permitting, construction, and turnover/grand opening on projects from inception.
:
Responsible for attaining planned franchise development action approvals and openings for territory covered (West), including accurate forecasting and risk assessment. Includes utilizing project management processes to develop and maintain a pipeline of projects, track progress against milestones and communicate results.
:
Insure all KFC Development activity in territory covered (West) is compliant and consistent with all related process and policies, including KFC Development Approval Committee requirements.
:
Execute against KFC US market plan and asset strategy planning processes to develop strategies and tactics that enable and accelerate the US Growth and Development Strategy. Includes benchmarking and competitive analysis within priority DMAs for territory covered (West).
:
Build relationships and work with franchisees to influence develop commitment against market plans and support ongoing development results aligned with those plans.
:
Support KFC asset review and Exhibit A process as needed for renewals, franchise to franchise transfers, etc. in territory covered (West).
:
Support assessment and qualification process for new franchisees entering the KFC system through new unit development or acquisition for territory covered (West). Support franchise on:boarding and follow up support processes as needed.

Support targeted Franchise Recruiting efforts to fill brand strategic needs by identifying candidates
:
Support KFC Development Team as needed in planning, business reviews, and adhoc projects.

Moderate to heavy (20:50+) travel depending on pipeline priorities
Minimum Requirements
Education
:
BA/BS in real estate, finance, business or related field required. Masters in Real Estate or MBA preferred.
Experience
:
Minimum of 3 years of market planning, real estate, development related experience with demonstrated organizational impact and increasing responsibility in related areas. Experience in franchise, multi:unit restaurant/reta
