Job Description
This job contributes to KFC:US success by ensuring outstanding restaurant designs are produced that uphold the KFC customer experience and brand positioning while meeting established design and architectural standards. This process is inclusive of all phases of design from schematics through construction documents and administration while honoring cost, schedule and operational requirements. Models and acts in accordance with KFC and Yum culture.

Supports KFC ASAP (American Showman Acceleration Program) roll out and execution. Program covers 4,350 restaurants in the US.
:
Providing design direction for restaurants that get escalated to corporate during program rollout ? program objective is significant of US restaurants over next 3 years.

Providing thorough mark ups for Franchisee submittals (drawings generated by external consultants).

Cross functionally lead the development of specifications of millwork, furniture and building components as a part of the concept development process ? Primary

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
: Executes design strategy in design of KFC stores. Provides clear, effective and timely communication of design direction and changes to internal team members and external consultants. Identifies exceptions, proposes and implements design solutions.
: Contributes to broader team goals by achieving target deliverables and meeting all established deadlines.
: Designs stores within parameters of individual store budgets and market requirements with alignment from cross:functional teams
: Develops design documentation to support design intent per established guidelines including schematic drawings and finish palettes.
: Manages the production of construction documents by external consultants. Responsible for the integrity and quality of the construction documents inclusive of design intent, detailing, code requirements, scheduling and MEPs.
: Sets schedules with alignment from cross:functional teams. Communicates dates to project team and meets all established deadlines. Conducts site visits as needed.

Adhoc design related projects as needed
Minimum Requirements
Education
B.S. in Architecture, Interior Design or related field.
Related professional registrations/certifications are a plus.
Experience
: Multi:unit Restaurant design is helpful. Retail design, hospitality in a consultancy or a corporate organization including management of construction documents (minimum 3:5 years of expanding responsibility) is required.
